Play For the Glory of God
We’re all blessed with a special talent. A divine gift from God. Not all of us are meant to play in the NBA, but we do have our own purpose. We discover our God-given talents through trial and error. If you fail in one area, keep searching until you find your calling.
The most successful people in life are the ones who play with the hand God has dealt them. We see it in all areas of expertise, whether it be teaching, singing, or some type of business. Once you find what you’re gifted in, your potential is infinite.
“…whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
Professional athletes are highly influential and praised. They are treated as “superheroes.” They build platforms and influence the masses. We start to dance like Russell Westbrook or copy LeBron James’ and Dwayne Wade’s handshake. If God has given you the ability to be athletic, achieve your maximum potential and inspire. It is one of the greatest blessings.
There are many NBA players right now who express their love and faith in Jesus Christ. Here is an article we wrote: “How God Uses Christian Players in the NBA”
Spend time developing the talent hidden within you every single day. Find out what God has placed within you and use every moment and every situation to develop that gift. Breakthrough and be an inspiration to others.
“I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.” Exodus 31:3
