Eat Healthy For Better Performance
As the saying goes, “you are what you eat.”
Maintaining health isn’t just to improve one’s life, it is also a major factor in sports.
Many basketball players who are working out all day and are busy with school and other activities usually do not have the time so they are trapped in eating fast-food. As this is considered normal to many athletes out there, they end up thinking it’s fine to eat unhealthy.
Another problem is the low budget that many young basketball players have. We all know fast-food is cheap and these athletes are left with no choices on what they eat.
There is a solution to this problem. If you don’t have much money, or time, you can always go to a grocery store and buy more ideal foods that are low priced and last for a couple of days, maybe even a week.
For $20 you can get…
– Ground beef
– Orange Juice
You can buy all that I just listed for around $20 and maybe build your own healthy list; so now there are no excuses for eating unhealthy!
When you eat healthy, you feel good. When you feel good, you do good! I had all of these problems when I was a young athlete and I ate McDonalds 2-3 times a week. I never noticed how it ruined my performance, but I started eating healthy and I don’t even look back anymore.
